Gwynne Richards MBA MCILT MIMC MIOM

Gwynne is a logistics professional with over 20 years’ experience within logistics and supply chain management. He has an excellent record in reducing costs and improving performance.

Clients include Hagemeyer, United Utilities, CIL Ernst and Young and Warwick University. Gwynne has worked for companies including Dawson Group, Lane Group plc, Danzas and DHL. He is currently Chairman of the CILT Outsourcing and Procurement Forum.

He has recently teamed up with a local software company to produce a stock count management package to help speed up the stock counting and verification process.

David Cairns MCILT Associate

David is an experienced and effective Logistics Professional. He has wide-ranging skills including project planning, contract implementation, logistics process design and assessment and International experience both with third-party logistics providers and retailers and manufacturers. This is supported by extensive hands-on operational experience gained in multi-national environments. Recent projects include:

Implementation consultant for major UK food retailing/wholesale group. Supported conversion of strategic review of logistics for group through realisation of a series of projects, including network rationalisation of wholesale warehouses, consolidation of outsourced operations into DC network, and relocation of stand-alone retail frozen warehouse to new building adjacent to other temperature regime warehousing. Main project delivered savings in excess of £5m pa.

Design and implementation support for a new build warehouse (10,000 sq m) in Poland to provide services for a fmcg manufacturer; project included input to IT system specification and testing, training and supplier negotiation for key components of fit-out.

Assessment and Support of new business initiatives in Turkey, UAE and Oman for major Logistics Service Provider – leading to establishment of Joint Ventures.

Mike Dymond MILT MMS Associate

Mike is a logistics professional with commercial and operational experience at general manager level who focuses on delivering business improvement in demanding environments. He has over 30 years experience in logistics and has been an independent consultant since 2001 where his clients include Tesco, Argos, Technicolor, the NHS and Unipart. He has carried out a wide range of projects including warehouse management system installations, outsourcing projects, ITT preparation, network reviews, programme management, management of materials handling projects and new warehouse openings. Trained in industrial engineering, he specialises in delivering performance improvement in ongoing business critical operations. He has strong people management skills and a proven ability to problem solve, trouble shoot and take organisations through change.
